| Who We Are We are an institution formed with people that have Christian principles and contribute and walk along with the most segregated, depressed and vulnerable sectors of the country who seek opportunities to develop their potential. We are a ministry affiliated to the Christian Honduran Lutheran Church. We join with the church in action to improve education, health, and other basic needs that are prioritized by the affected people. Just like Martin Luther, we have a commitment to their society and its needs, which we endeavor to help by our active participation. We believe that salvation by grace is a gift from the LORD. It shows us that He has unending love towards us and for that reason; we can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior. We consider the Bible to be the word of God and it is our conviction that we are responsible to share the Gospel with others in order to build a path to His realm. We work with effort to reflect an ethic of love and solidarity. Geographical Areas of Influence We work primarily in small isolated rural communities, usually among people that do not own lands, and thus have great difficulty being agriculturally productive or raising farm animals. These communities lack basic services, homes, and public services, especially in the areas of education and health. Currently, our influence for development is in the western states of Santa Barbara and Copan. In the central states we have programs in Francisco Morazan, Olancho and Comayagua. In the southern states, we work along with the people of Choluteca. The communities have been selected after analyzing the priorities of each and the decisions are done with the agreement of the local governments and the churches that have ministries in those areas.
