This picture was taken in front of the school in Las Brisas, Copan, which was built by the community with the help of friends from the United States.  Together we are strong.  The people in the picture are Charlie Smith, Hernie Lopez, Kindergarten teacher Rosita, 1-6 teacher Fatima, Jesus Menjiva and Chico, who has been with us on the mission field in Los Ranchos.

The new health center being built in El Modelo, next to the school that was built in 2005.  The land for the health center was purchased by sacrificial giving from within the community.  It is beautifully done, and will be an asset to the community, thanks to all who labor and sacrifice in this good work.  The friends of this community can rejoice in the hope and vision of the Modelo/Las Brisas area people.  They have taken charge of their own future, and things will continue to improve for them.

Buranapong and Eri consult before each class on the technique that will be used in each situation,
always changing and adapting to the situation at hand.

They also consult with the teacher to ascertain the need of the moment.

Here is the team in action: students, teachers, material.  In many of the classrooms, the teacher watches carefully
and learns along with the class.  Many teachers attend the out-of-school classes that are sometimes
offered by Eri and Buranapong, along with some other people in the town and nearby.  God bless this ministry.

A fresh water source of indeterminate age.  The water seeps through the rock into the basin, and in this way is filtered quite well.  There is a trough around the top of the basin that deflects runoff away, leaving the basin full of clean potable water.
